The North Carolina Postal History Society, founded 24 July 1982, is Affiliate #155 of the American Philatelic Society. The NCPHS publishes a quarterly journal, the North Carolina Postal Historian, in January, April, July and October. It sponsors auctions on an intermittent schedule. Other services provided are exhibit awards, free classified ad (one per year) and discounts on Society publications. The Society holds an annual meeting during one of the North Carolina stamp shows, at which time the officers and one-half of the Society directors are elected.
